Teddy Baby Replica 1929 (25 cm)

Steiff Teddy Baby Replica 1929 was released in 1929 and was a new design for Steiff and was granted a patent in 1930. This bear is a replica of the one submitted for patent in 1929 and so has a black and white label in his ear. He is full jointed and made from high quality pale corn coloured alpaca and is stuffed with wood shavings (just as the 1929 teddy was made). The bear comes with felt paw pads which have stitched claws and touch his stomach and he will 'squeak' for you! His face has black eyes and hand embroidered mouth and nose.
