007 Villains: Auric Goldfinger Teddy Bear (28 cm)
SH007644In 1964, Ian Flemings' novel Goldfinger was adapted into the third James Bond film. Goldfinger is filled with iconic moments and is often considered to have one of the greatest James Bond scenes: "Goodbye Mr. Bond." "Do you expect me to talk?" "No, Mr. Bond, I expect you to die!" Auric Goldfinger, the most sinister of all James Bond villains, has an obsession with gold, as revealed during a game of golf with Bond. Although Bond outsmarts Goldfinger and wins the match, the scene inspired the design of this Teddy bear, featuring the outfit worn in the film by German actor, Gert Frobe. The film's logo of Goldfinger is embroidered on one foot pad, while the other displays the musical notes from the film's title theme, bringing this little villain to life with its Academy Award-winning soundtrack.
